Get amazing views of Edinburgh Castle on our way to Victoria Street – said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley – and we finish near Edinburgh City Chambers where you’ll learn about JK Rowling’s impact on the city. After the tour, you'll be given your tickets to explore the beautiful Edinburgh Castle!

On this tour, you’ll see sights featured in The Philosopher’s Stone, The Prisoner of Azkaban, and the Order of the Phoenix movies. You'll also spot the Muggle Prime Minister’s home on Downing Street and see where Harry, Ron, and Hermione broke into the Ministry of Magic in The Deathly Hallows Part 1. You'll stroll down Great Scotland Yard, where, in Order of the Phoenix, Harry and Mr Weasley make their way to the Ministry of Magic via a red telephone box. Also, you'll find out exactly where in Piccadilly Circus Harry, Ron and Hermione were nearly run over by a red double-decker bus in The Deathly Hallows Part 1.

We will also learn about the cafe's where she sat and wrote the beginning of the book and where she finished in the realms of luxury. Having gained a degree in Tourism Management in Edinburgh and having extensively worked in the Scottish tourism industry I feel I have the passion to show you around. I specialised my final year Thesis paper on the phenomenon that is Harry Potter and how it relates to Scottish tourism. All tours are small group sizes. No more than 10 people per group.
