Beatlemania breaks out again! On this fascinating daytime walking tour, your guide will take you around London and show you all the famous locations related to the Beatles. You’ll also be able to sign the famous wall in front of Abbey Road Studios and have your photo taken on the Abbey Road crossing (transport permitting). Learn interesting facts about the band that made music history and see what inspired them! IMPORTANT – Please provide an active contact telephone number to ensure your guide can reach you if necessary. – Punctuality is crucial. To respect your tour guide and fellow customers time, it is essential that the tour concludes on time. THE BEATLES IN BATH 1963 This tour of the UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE BATH for English and German speaking visitors is suitable for singles, couples, groups and private groups alike and starts on Pulteney Bridge, leading to and visiting The Pavilion Hall and Photo Gallery where The Beatles performed songs of their first ever album ‘Please Please Me’ on June 10th 1963 as part of their UK tour with Roy Orbison. Details of this event will be highlighted as well as topics about The Beatles legacy including why their Hamburg days were important in becoming the most celebrated band of all times. From there we are heading to the Roman Bath and the Bath Abbey followed by your Host’s live piano performance (The Beatles Ballads and ‘Imagine’ as a tribute to John Lennon)in the Square Restaurant’s Piano Bar opposite of the historic Pump Room. A live performance of ‘The Bath Beatles’ can be booked with your host while you stay in Bath or for a later date.
